The gel contains a number of herbal essential oils and extracts that have anesthetic and relaxing effects. Clove, lavender, thyme, rosemary and ginger reduce the pain of strained muscles. Their effect is enhanced by methyl salicylate, a derivative of salicylic acid, which causes the capillaries to dilate and blood circulation to increase. Menthol and camphor help blood circulation. Chestnut and comfrey extract, arnica extract, cinnamon and eucalyptus essential oils represent a wide range of substances that act against muscle fatigue and strain on the venous system. The gel has significant aromatherapeutic effects and accelerates recovery.
