Description
Food supplement. BioGaia® drops provide a simple, safe and convenient way to provide live, active bacteria to the intestinal microflora. They can be added to food or drink and can also be given on a spoon, making them ideal for infants and young children and for anyone who cannot take tablets. BioGaia® drops contain live, active bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri (L.reuteri) Protectis mixed in oil. This strain was first isolated from breast milk. Today, we replicate it in our laboratories according to demanding standards. Just 5 drops a day are enough to cover the daily recommended dose of 100 million active, health-promoting bacteria L. reuteri Protectis.
Instructions for use: Gently squeeze the tube and add 5 drops. If the drops do not start to form, shake well again. The drops can be given on a spoon, dripped onto the breast (if you are breastfeeding), added to a feeding bottle or food. The drops do not change the taste of food or drinks. Do not add to hot food or drinks and do not give from the tube directly into the mouth to avoid damaging the live, active bacteria.
Dosage
5 drops once a day.
1 dose (5 drops) contains at least 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis bacteria.
Ingredients
Sunflower oil, medium chain triglyceride fatty acids (MCT) and live Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (Protectis) bacteria. The packaging contains a white plastic strip, used to extend the shelf life, which has been approved for use with food and is not intended for consumption.
Warning
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage, keep out of reach of children and remember that dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet.
