The main herb in the ointment is mountain arnica (Arnica Montana), also known as arnica rain. The perennial herb with yellow-orange flowers grows in Europe and North America, and in our country it is found mainly in higher, more mountainous areas. Mountain arnica is a plant protected by law.
In herbalism, mainly arnica flowers are used. They are collected from June to August, before they fully bloom. The active ingredients of mountain arnica include essential oils, mucilages, coumarins and flavonoids.
The ointment base is made of uncooked purified pork lard. It is extracted with hot steam and there are no known allergies, which is why it is used to treat various dermatitis. Its composition resembles human fat, it is perfectly absorbed into the skin and is also a high-quality carrier of medicinal substances contained in herbs.
In addition, Arnica Ointment also contains real beeswax. This has excellent protective and moisturizing properties and increases the resulting quality of the ointment.

The effect of mountain arnica is supported by thyme in the ointment - thus increasing the resulting effect of arnica.
Usage
Before applying the ointment, it is recommended to wash the affected area with soap-free water and dry it well. The ointment is applied in a thin layer on the skin, so as not to clog the pores. Arnica ointment is applied 2-3 times a day (or as needed), gently rubbing into the skin for 2-3 minutes. Proper application of the ointment helps to strengthen its aftereffect.
