Arnica ointment is an excellent means of massage, gentle massage has a beneficial effect on the lower limbs (e.g. for muscle fatigue or treatment of swelling). Massage helps with joint problems, arthritic or arthritic inflammation.
Arnica ointment is well suited for skin care (tibial ulcers, wounds, inflammations). Arnica extract has a regenerative effect on acne and minor abrasions.

The main herb in the ointment is mountain arnica (Arnica Montana), also known as arnica prha. This perennial herb with yellow-orange flowers grows in Europe and North America, in our country it is found mainly in higher, mountainous areas. Mountain arnica is a legally protected plant.
Arnica flowers are mainly used in herbalism. These are harvested from June to August, before they are in full bloom. The active substances of mountain arnica include essential oils, mucilages, coumarins and flavonoids.
The ointment base consists of uncured purified pork fat. It is extracted with hot steam and there are no known allergies, which is why it is used to treat various dermatitis. Its composition resembles human fat, it is well absorbed into the skin and at the same time it is a good carrier of medicinal substances contained in herbs.
Arnica ointment also contains genuine beeswax. It has excellent protective and moisturizing properties and increases the final quality of the ointment.
Usage
Before applying the ointment, it is recommended to wash the affected area with soap-free water and dry it well. The ointment is applied in a thin layer on the skin, so as not to clog the pores. Arnica ointment is applied 2-3 times a day (or as needed), gently rubbing into the skin for 2-3 minutes. Proper application of the ointment helps to strengthen its aftereffect.
