Description
Tea Tree Oil is a clear to very light golden essential oil of fresh camphor color. It is obtained from the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia, which grows mainly in New South Wales, Australia. Europeans discovered it in 1770 thanks to Captain Cook.
Tea Tree Oil (its English name has become familiar to us too) has excellent antiseptic effects and is therefore widely used, especially in cosmetic and medicinal products. It has proven results in the treatment of minor skin injuries and in the care of problematic skin.
