Description
Enhydrol Forte is a food for special medical purposes intended for rehydration in diarrheal diseases, fever and vomiting for adults and children from the age of 4 months. It has a composition that meets the requirements of ESPGHAN* with a ginger and orange flavor. The composition recommended by the ESPGHAN group is the most suitable composition for the European pediatric population.

Dosage
Mix the contents of the bag in 200 ml of drinking water (for babies in boiled cooled baby water). The amount of liquid in which the contents of the sachet are dissolved must be observed to achieve the optimal amount of salts, sugars and liquids in the solution. Always administer the solution cooled to 4-8°C by spoonfuls. Use the prepared solution immediately. The solution cannot be flavored with juices or juices, as this leads to an increase in osmolality and a loss of its effect. The amount of irrigation solution administered is based on the degree of dehydration and the weight of the child. For a light degree of dehydration, give 30-50 ml/kg of the child's weight/4 hours, in addition, for each watery stool, 10 ml/kg of the child's weight. For moderate dehydration, give 50-100 ml/kg of the child's weight/4 hours, in addition, 10 ml/kg of the child's weight for each watery stool. For at least 4 hours, give the solution by spoonfuls or gradually from a baby bottle. The exact dosage will be recommended by a doctor or a person qualified in the field of pharmacy or nutrition. If signs of dehydration persist after 4 hours of administration of the solution, it is possible to administer the solution for another 6-12 hours in the same mode as during the first 4 hours. If the child's condition does not improve even after 16 hours, contact the doctor!
Ingredients
Glucose 3.96 g, sodium chloride 0.35 g, potassium chloride 0.30 g, sodium citrate 0.51 g, ginger extract, natural orange flavor in one bag. Glucose and ion content: glucose (110 mmol/l), Na+ (60 mmol/l), K+ (20 mmol/l), Cl- (50 mmol/l), citrate (10 mmol/l). Osmolality of the finished solution: 240±10 mOsm/kg.
