Description
Enterosgel Kids is a class IIa medical device. The gastrointestinal adsorbent is used for acute diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. It is an oral intestinal adsorbent based on an organic mineral with adsorption capacity for some toxic and harmful substances in the intestine (e.g. endotoxins, enterotoxins), which it physically binds to its surface, thus reducing the frequency of stool emptying and the duration of diarrhea.
Product advantages:
- It is an oral suspension indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrheal diseases, irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D).
- It leaves the body with feces, thereby removing adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which may have a beneficial effect in the treatment of the indicated conditions.
- It relieves diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating and the urge to defecate in patients with IBS-D.
- Can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is recommended to consult your doctor if you feel unwell during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Does not contain preservatives, gluten, sugar, sweeteners, lactose, fats, flavorings, ingredients of plant or animal origin.

Dosage
Recommended dosage:
Children under 1 year:
2.5g (approximately 1/2 teaspoon) diluted in 7.5-15ml water 3 times a day.
Children from 1 to 6 years:
5g (approximately 1 teaspoon) diluted in 50-100ml water 3 x daily.
Children aged 7 to 14 years:
10g (approximately 2 teaspoons) diluted in 50-100ml water 3 x daily.
Children aged 15+ and adults:
15g to 22.5g (approximately 1 tablespoon or 1-1.5 sachets) diluted in 200ml water 3 x daily.
In children, treatment of diarrhoea should be supplemented with sufficient fluids or oral rehydration solution to prevent dehydration.
In adults, fluid intake or oral rehydration solution is recommended during treatment with the product to ensure proper rehydration.
Take the required dose of the product after the first runny stool. At least 2 hours before or after taking oral medication and at least 1-2 hours before or after meals. Dilute the dose in room temperature water before administration. Shake the tube well before opening and each use. Use the sachet immediately after opening and use the tube within 30 days of opening.
Duration of treatment with the drug:
3 - 5 days for acute diarrhea,
Up to 30 days for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. A pause of at least 3 days between re-administration.
At the beginning of treatment (Day 1) you may double the first dose and then continue with a single dose after each stool. Maximum of eight doses on the first day.
During treatment of chronic diarrhea, you may adjust the dosage to match the consistency and frequency of stools. It is possible to take a double dose up to 3 times a day if stools are thin, or reduce to one dose 1 time a day if stools are normal. A maximum of six doses per day can be taken.
Discontinue treatment with the product if you do not have a stool for 1 - 2 days, increase water intake and resume treatment after the next stool.
Ingredients
Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate 70%, purified water 30%.
Warning
Do not use if you are taking oral modified (controlled) release drugs at the same time.
Do not use if you have intestinal atony or intestinal obstruction (severe constipation due to intestinal obstruction).
Do not take less than two hours before or after taking oral medication. May affect the absorption of some drugs that are given orally. If you are taking any medicines, you may also wish to consult your doctor or pharmacist about the use of this product.
In the case of prolonged diarrhea, a doctor should be consulted before taking the product to diagnose the underlying condition.
Do not exceed the recommended treatment period and do not take with food to avoid possible adsorption of vitamins or nutrients.
If diarrhea persists for more than two days, a physician should be consulted.
If you have fever, blood in the stool, signs of dehydration, six or more stools in the last 24 hours, diarrhea and vomiting at the same time, severe or constant abdominal pain, seek medical attention as soon as possible, especially if children are involved.
Do not exceed the recommended dose and do not exceed the recommended duration of treatment.
Please talk to your doctor if you are currently taking other intestinal adsorbents, such as products that contain activated charcoal, clay or kaolin. Your doctor may advise you not to take these at the same time as the medicine.
It is not indicated for use in cases of acute chemical poisoning or drug overdose.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
