Description
ENTEROSGEL® is an oral intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent) based on an organic mineral with adsorption capacity for some toxic and harmful substances in the intestine (e.g. endotoxins, enterotoxins), which it physically binds to its surface, thus reducing the frequency of stool emptying and the duration of diarrhea.
ENTEROSGEL® leaves the body with the stool, thereby removing adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which may have a beneficial effect in the treatment of the indicated conditions. ENTEROSGEL® relieves diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating and the urge to defecate in patients with IBS-D.
ENTEROSGEL® does not contain preservatives, gluten, sugar, sweeteners, lactose, fats, flavorings, ingredients of plant or animal origin.
Dosage
Children 1-6 years: 5 g (approximately 1 teaspoon) diluted in 50-100 ml of water 3 times a day. Children 7-14 years: 10 g (approximately 2 teaspoons) diluted in 50-100 ml of water 3 times a day. Children aged 15 years and older and adults: 15 g to 22-5 g (approximately 1 tablespoon) diluted in 200 ml of water 3 times a day. For children under 3 years of age, it is recommended to consult a doctor before using ENTEROSGEL®. At the beginning of treatment (Day 1) you can double the first dose and then continue with a single dose after each stool, 3 to 6 times a day. A maximum of 8 doses on the first day. Take ENTEROSGEL 2 hours before or after a meal or after taking oral medications. ENTEROSGEL is used for 3-5 days for acute diarrhea and up to 21 days for chronic diarrhea in IBS.
