Butyrate Infusion is intended for butyrate supplementation. Butyrate is an elemental short-chain fatty acid (SCFA). It is produced mainly by bacteria fermenting fiber in the intestine and its amount can be reduced with an imbalanced intestinal microflora. Enteric coating protects butyrate from low pH in the stomach and ensures its delivery to the intestine.
One capsule contains: sodium butyrate (sodium butyrate) 200 mg.
