Užívání kalciového sirupu Generica v prvním roce života je třeba konzultovat s dětským lékařem . Při doporučeném dávkování je třeba zohlednit denní příjem vápníku v potravě . Pokud lékař nedoporučí jinak, dětem do 1 roku se obvykle podává : 2,5 ml sirupu 1 krát denně 1 – 6 let – 5 ml sirupu 1 krát denně 6 -15 let – 10 ml sirupu 1 krát denně. dospělí – 15 ml sirupu 2 krát denně .
