Description
Glucan Plus is a dietary supplement. It is a syrup for children with a pleasant orange flavor. It contains yeast beta-glucan (Beta-1,3/1,6 D-glucan) in the amount of 10 mg per dose (3 ml of syrup). The advantage of Glucan is its approval by the Czech Paediatric Society as a food supplement suitable for use from 1 year of age.
Betaglucan used in this preparation is of yeast origin and has a guaranteed purity of at least 80%, which indicates the high quality of the preparation. Apotex products with betaglucan are manufactured in the Czech Republic.
They do not contain preservatives. Sweetened with fructose, suitable for diabetics.
The package contains 250 ml.
Dosage
Children from 1 year 3 ml (equivalent to 1 teaspoon per day).
For children from 3 years of age, the dosage can be increased:
Children 3-5 years (up to 20 kg): 2-3 teaspoons per day (equivalent to 6-9 ml).
Children 6-9 years (up to 30 kg): 3-4 teaspoons per day (equivalent to 9-12 ml).
Older children: 1 tablespoon per day (equivalent to 15 ml per day).
Ingredients
Fructose, yeast betaglucan, citric acid (acidity regulator), carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt (stabilizer), flavor (orange), purified water.
Warning
Store at room temperature (10 - 25 °C), in a dry and dark place (NOT in the refrigerator). Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Do not exceed recommended daily dosage, keep out of reach of children and remember that dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet.
