Description
Iron in a liquid and highly absorbable organic gluconate form with a delicious citrus flavour of tropical fruit contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system, supports the production of red blood cells, haemoglobin, energy, oxygen transport in the body and contributes to reducing the level of fatigue and exhaustion. It is free of salt (NaCl), sugar, gluten, lactose, artificial colours, artificial flavours and preservatives.
Studies report that during pregnancy, the fetus stores the iron available from the mother. During breastfeeding, the baby's serum iron is not dependent on the mother's serum iron level. Obviously, this mineral does not pass into breast milk subsequently to the baby.
Foods rich in heme iron include, for example:
Seafood (clams, oysters and mussels), red meat (beef, lamb, venison and pork), liver (chicken or beef), fish (sardines, halibut, cod, salmon and tuna), poultry (chicken and turkey).
Foods rich in non-heme iron include:
Eggs, dried fruit such as apricots, plums and raisins, fortified cereal products such as cereals and pasta, legumes such as beans, lentils, peas and soya, some vegetables such as asparagus and spinach

Dosage
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older take 1-3 teaspoons (5-15 mL) daily with food or consult a physician.
Take several hours before or after taking other medications or dietary supplements. Shake well before use.
Ingredients
Elemental iron (ferrous gluconate) 10 mg (71.43% of the reference intake value) in one teaspoon (5 ml).
Xylitol, steviol glycosides (sweeteners); citric acid (flavour enhancer); natural flavour (tropical citrus); potassium sorbate (antimicrobial); xanthan gum (thickener).
Warning
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Not intended for children under 12 years of age. Not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. The food supplement contains iron, an excessive dose of which poses a serious risk of harm to the child's health. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Free from salt (NaCl), sugar, gluten, lactose, artificial colours, artificial flavours and preservatives. Contains xylitol.
