Description
An important component of the DLPA extra product is the amino acid phenylalanine. It is an essential amino acid that our body cannot produce on its own and therefore must be supplied to the body through diet or nutritional supplements. It is a substance that increases the level of endorphins (happiness hormones) in the central nervous system. DLPA is a combination of two forms of phenylalanine - L-form and D-form.
The L-form is important for increasing the production of dopamine (one of the happiness hormones) and noradrenaline (a stress hormone that prepares our body and brain for a quick reaction, a hormone of mental alertness) - these neurotransmitters, transmitters of nerve impulses, have an overall stimulating effect on the body. Lower levels of noradrenaline increase our hypersensitivity to fatigue, depression or pain. The L-form of phenylalanine slows down the process of mental aging, improves the ability to learn and remember, and improves mood. The D-form affects chemicals in the brain that are related to the feeling of pain and suppresses states of depression.
The composition is enriched with vitamins C and B6, which contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system, psyche and the proper functioning of the immune system.
DLPA EXTRA contains:
- DL – phenylalanine – this is an essential amino acid that is a suitable remedy for chronic pain without side effects
- Vitamin C – to maintain the proper functioning of the immune system and other biochemical processes in our body
- Vitamin B6 – contributes to normal mental activity, to reduce stress, fatigue and exhaustion
Dosage
Adults: 1 - 5 capsules daily on an empty stomach Children from 7 to 14 years: 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach Children from 14 to 18 years: 2 capsules daily on an empty stomach We do not recommend taking it with a high protein meal - the effectiveness of the nutritional supplement may be reduced
