Description
An important component of DLPA extra is the amino acid phenylalanine. It is an essential amino acid that our body cannot create on its own and therefore must be supplied to the body through diet or dietary supplements. It is a substance that increases the level of endorphins (happiness hormones) in the central nervous system. DLPA is a combination of two forms of phenylalanine - the L-form and the D-form.
The L-form is important for increasing the production of dopamine (one of the happiness hormones) and norepinephrine (a stress hormone that prepares our body and brain to react quickly, the mental alertness hormone) - these neurotransmitters, carriers of nerve excitement, have an overall stimulating effect on the body. Lower levels of norepinephrine increase our susceptibility to fatigue, depression or pain. The L-form of phenylalanine slows down the mental aging process, improves learning and remembering abilities, and improves mood. The D-form affects chemicals in the brain that are related to feelings of pain and suppresses states of depression.
The composition is enriched with vitamin C and B6, which contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system, the psyche and the proper functioning of the immune system.
DLPA EXTRA contains:

Dosage
Adults: 1 - 5 capsules daily on an empty stomach Children from 7 to 14 years: 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach Children from 14 to 18 years: 2 capsules daily on an empty stomach We do not recommend taking it with a high protein meal - the effectiveness of the nutritional supplement may be reduced
