Burdock is a rhizomatous plant reaching a height of about 1.5 m. It is mainly used for its root in various ways. Its widespread use is in the form of an infusion and decoction, but the most effective form is an alcohol tincture, which should be combined with pyrethrum and dandelion. For external use, it is advisable to use a decoction or oil. The root contains polysaccharide inulin, polyacetylene components with strong phytoncidal and fungicidal action, mucilage, tannins, minerals and other substances.
Burdock stimulates natural defence mechanisms and strengthens the body's resistance. It promotes blood purification, helps maintain healthy skin. Facilitates digestion, especially of fats, helps maintain normal functional status and joint mobility.
Usage
Apply as needed and in an appropriate layer.
