Calendula is originally a domestic plant, probably in southern Europe and East Asia. People have been using it for centuries, the beginnings of its use for supportive purposes date back to the time of ancient Greece, and it has been cultivated in our country for many centuries. The flower is used, and for the preparation of tinctures, the undeveloped flower - the bud. The flower and the whole plant contain a number of active substances such as carotenoids, essential oils, salicylic acid, triterpene saponins, flavonoid glycosides, calendula and calendulin bitters, vitamin C, mucilage, flavonoids and others. In recent years, several scientific studies have been conducted to identify other possible uses for revitalizing the human body.
According to current knowledge, marigold excels in purifying effects, supporting the revitalization of the skin and mucous membranes. It has a beneficial effect on irritated respiratory tracts, mucous membranes and skin. It supports the function of the liver and small intestine, calms the body in reactions of hypersensitivity to external stimuli. Dosage
After shaking 20 drops 3 times a day, a daily dose of 60 drops corresponds to an extract from 1.25 g of fresh plant material.
