OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is a dietary supplement in capsule form that contains a unique combination of three complexes and cell protection against oxidative stress (zinc).
ANTI-DRY COMPLEX: Omega-7 PUFA, lycopene, beta-carotene, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 Sea buckthorn oil is one of the richest sources of beta-carotene and omega-7 polyunsaturated fatty acids. OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is also enriched with important vitamins B6 and B12.
CAROTENOID COMPLEX: Lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin A, phospholipids These substances are among the carotenoids that are a natural part of the protective eye pigment of the retina. These carotenoids accumulate in higher amounts, especially in the yellow spot of the retina (macula). However, with age, the concentration of carotenoids in the eye decreases. Vitamin A also contributes to the proper function of vision. OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 also contains natural soy lecithin. Lecithin is the most important natural source of phosphatidylcholine and other important phospholipids. Phospholipids are essential, special fats important for the proper function of cell membranes and for a number of natural biochemical processes. Phospholipids are a natural part of the tear film.
ANTIOXIDANT COMPLEX: Zinc and selenium OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is very conveniently supplemented with an important ANTIOXIDANT COMPLEX. Zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
