OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is a dietary supplement in the form of capsules that contains a unique combination of three complexes and cell protection against oxidative stress (zinc).
ANTI-DRY COMPLEX: Omega-7 PUFA, lycopene, beta-carotene, vitamin B6, vitamin B12. Sea buckthorn oil is one of the richest sources of beta-carotene and omega-7 polyunsaturated fatty acids. OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is further enriched with important vitamins B6 and B12.
CAROTENOID COMPLEX: Lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin A, phospholipids. These substances belong to carotenoids, which are a natural component of the protective eye pigment of the retina. These carotenoids accumulate in higher amounts, especially in the yellow spot of the eye retina (macula). However, the concentration of carotenoids in the eye decreases with age. Vitamin A also contributes to the proper functioning of vision. OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 also contains natural soy lecithin. Lecithin is the most significant natural source of phosphatidylcholine and other important phospholipids. Phospholipids are essential, special fats important for the proper functioning of cell membranes and for a range of natural biochemical processes. Phospholipids are a natural component of the tear film.
ANTIOXIDANT COMPLEX: Zinc and selenium. OCUTEIN® FRESH Omega-7 is very well supplemented with an important ANTIOXIDANT COMPLEX. Zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Additionally, zinc contributes to maintaining normal vision.
