OMK2® is a sterile ophthalmic solution and is registered as a medical device. The 10 ml solution contains 2% citicoline, 0.05% vitamin B12 and 0.2% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. It is intended for patients with incipient diabetic retinopathy.
Thanks to the presence of citicoline, OMK2® provides useful and beneficial structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes affected by ocular degenerative processes, such as incipient diabetic retinopathy.
In addition, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) protects cells from free radicals and supports the growth of corneal epithelial cells. Thanks to its vitamin B12 content, it indirectly supports the physiological processes of corneal re-epithelialization after eye surgery, laser surgery or small abrasions of the corneal surface.
Thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid and its mucoadhesive and highly elastic properties, OMK2® allows you to create a suitable microenvironment for repair processes on the surface of the eye in case of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium, improves the stability of the tear film and thus keeps the surface of the eye lubricated, hydrated and protected.
In addition, the hydrating and protective properties of OMK2® provide relief for the eyes in case of irritation, burning and foreign body sensation in the eye, which are caused by environmental factors or long-term viewing of screens.
The package contains 10 ml.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is 1 drop 3 times a day. Do not use in case of intolerance to any ingredient of the product.
Blurred vision may occur temporarily after application. For activities requiring sharp vision, it is recommended to wait a few seconds after application. The product contains benzalkonium chloride (0.01%). Benzalkonium chloride, even in low concentrations, may cause eye irritation, especially in persons suffering from dry eye syndrome or corneal disease. If you experience unusual sensations, burning or pain in the eye using these eye drops, contact your doctor. Benzalkonium chloride can be passed through soft contact lenses and may change their color.
It is recommended to remove the contact lenses before using the product and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. Avoid eye contact with the dropper. If other topical eye preparations are used, allow an interval of 10-15 minutes after application. After first opening, use the product within 30 days. Keep the product out of the reach of children. The product is intended for external application to the eye only. After use, discard the bottle with household waste. In case of prolonged use, patients with dry eye syndrome or corneal disease should be observed.
