Description
The veterinary product Otivet is intended for cleaning the external auditory canal of dogs and cats. It dissolves sebum, removes impurities, and thus reduces the number of bacteria and yeast in the auditory canal. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, softens the mucous membrane of the auditory canal and does not dry it out.
The Otivet preparation contains several active ingredients in its formula, thanks to which problems are eliminated in several consecutive stages. In the first phase, Otivet works by cleaning and removing unwanted material from the ear. Thanks to lactic acid, it changes the pH of the skin to slightly acidic. Subsequently, thanks to propylene glycol, earwax dissolves. Evening primrose oil, which is also part of the formula, also has an anti-itch effect. In the second phase, the treated area is disinfected, as Otivet contains chlorhexidine. The last stage is healing. Thanks to mineral oil and lactic acid, optimal hydration of the animal's skin is ensured, and allantoin and propylene glycol contribute to faster renewal of the epidermis. Otivet therefore also has a keratoplastic effect.
Usage
Vyplňte roztokem přípravku Otivet celý zvukovod a jemně jej masírujte. Po rozpuštění nečistot nechte zvíře zatřepat hlavou a zbytky nečistot odstraňte kouskem gázy. Podle potřeby celý proces opakujte. Uši čistěte dle potřeby nebo se poraďte s veterinárním lékařem. Skladujte při teplotě 15–25°C. Přípravek Otivet používají veterinární lékaři také pro aplikaci jiných účinných látek do zevního zvukovodu. Je navíc vhodný také pro masivní výplachy zvukovodu u psů v anestezii.
