Unique sea buckthorn
Sea buckthorn oil in the preparation Bioactive Omega 7 is labeled SBA24. This is a unique formula that has been used in many clinical studies. The oil with this label is obtained from both the berries and seeds of the sea buckthorn plant, which makes this formula the richest combination of biologically active substances. In addition, the SBA24 label also means that the gentle production method of oil extraction using CO2 was used.
What is sea buckthorn?
Sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to six meters tall. It grows wild in Europe and Asia, a typical area is the dunes along the coast. In mountainous areas it is found in dry riverbeds. Female plants have characteristic orange-colored drupes, which are rich in essential and non-essential fatty acids, flavonoids, fruit acids, beta-carotene and other valuable substances.
There are only a few plants that are such an excellent source of important polyunsaturated fatty acids. In addition to omega 7 fatty acids, sea buckthorn oil also contains omega 3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid), omega 6 fatty acid (linoleic acid), omega 9 fatty acid (oleic acid) and a high content of antioxidants, such as tocopherols, tocotrienols, carotenoids, plant sterols and fat-soluble vitamins.
Dosage
2 capsules twice a day with food and drink for the first two weeks, 1 capsule twice a day thereafter. Do not exceed recommended amount. Pregnant and lactating women and those on medication should seek professional advice prior to taking supplements. Nutritional supplements should not be used as substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
