POSIFORLID® eye mask

One of the main problems with inflammation of the eyelid margins (blepharitis) is the hardening of the secretion of the sebaceous glands (meibomian glands) located on the eyelid margin. This can lead to the formation of crusts on the eyelid margin and eyelashes. Heat treatment softens the crusts on the eyelid margin and the secretion of the meibomian glands. This makes it easier to remove the crusts and the secretion can be easily wiped off when the eyelids are subsequently massaged. Therefore, it is extremely important to maintain or improve the function of the meibomian glands.

However, heat treatment is only successful if a warm and humid climate is maintained at a constant temperature of approximately 45 °C for up to 10 minutes. POSIFORLID® eye mask is a self-heating mask that meets these requirements in a specific way and can be used approximately 90 times.

Constant humidity and temperature of the mask
