Description
The preparation B complex forte Zentiva contains B vitamins, which are water-soluble vitamins. These vitamins are essential for maintaining the course of life processes in the body, they play an important role in the activity of enzymes involved in metabolism - in cellular respiration, the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and amino acids, and they participate in the processes of energy utilization.
They are essential for the normal function of tissues - skin, nervous system, digestive tract, body defenses, etc. During pregnancy, breastfeeding and in old age, the need for B vitamins is increased, and the need is also higher with increased physical exertion. B-complex forte Zentiva is used by adults and adolescents for the prevention and treatment of conditions associated with a lack of B vitamins in the body.
The need for B vitamins is increased in long-lasting fevers and infections, in increased thyroid function, after surgical removal of part of the stomach, in chronic diseases of the digestive system, in intestinal absorption disorders, in alcoholics, in chronic liver inflammation, in jaundice caused by blockage of bile outflow into the intestine, in long-term mental stress, in rapid weight loss in patients with one-sided nutrition, in some skin and nervous diseases, and in the use of certain medications, e.g. in the treatment of tuberculosis, in treatment with broad-spectrum antibiotics that suppress intestinal microorganisms that produce B vitamins, in women taking birth control pills, etc. Due to the high content of vitamins, B-complex forte Zentiva can be used by pregnant and lactating women and children under 15 years of age only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults and adolescents usually take Zentiva B-complex 1 - 3 coated tablets a day. Taking low doses is possible without a time limit. If higher doses are needed, B-complex forte Zentiva is used. Children are given 1 coated tablet 1-3 times a day for the period recommended by the doctor
