Description
Surgispon Standard is an absorbable, resorbable, sterile sponge. It is used on bleeding surfaces. Thanks to its porous structure, it activates platelets, which causes the formation of fibrin. The sponge is insoluble in water and malleable. Suitable for use in various surgical procedures. When applied to bleeding mucosal areas, it liquefies within 2-5 days.
