Description

SYSTANE® BALANCE Moisturizing Eye Drops is a lipid-based moisturizing product that relieves the symptoms of dry eye syndrome. SYSTANE BALANCE moisturizing eye drops moisturize the surface of the eye, enrich and stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film and reduce excessive tear evaporation. SYSTANE BALANCE moisturizing eye drops provide long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms such as burning and irritation.

SYSTANE® BALANCE moisturizing eye drops were specially developed for patients with dry eye syndrome due to Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).1 The unique formula contains the LipiTech™2 system and an active demulcent (emollient). This patented formula helps to restore an important component of tears - the lipid layer - over time, thus protecting against dry eye symptoms for longer. The drops are supplied in 10 ml bottles.

Usage

Systane Balance moisturizes the surface of the eye, replenishes and stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and reduces excessive evaporation of tears. Eye drops can be used 15 minutes before putting on contact lenses and after removing them. Shake well before use. If necessary, drop one or two drops into the eye (s) and blink.

Ingredients

The preparation contains a LipiTech system and an active demulcent (emollient). The other ingredients are boric acid, dimyristoyl phosphatidylglycerol, disodium edetate, hydroxypropyl guar, mineral oils, polyoxyl 40-stearate, polyquad (polyquaternium-1) 0,001%, sorbitan tristearate, sorbitol and deionised water.
