Description
The first mention of cedars can be found in the Epic of Gilgamesh (2nd millennium BC). Cedar is a sacred tree of the Hindus. It got its name from the word devadāru, which means tree of the gods. Cedarwood oil has beneficial antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects, and is used in the treatment of skin diseases. Cedarwood oil facilitates breathing, is suitable for coughs and bronchitis. It calms the nervous system, has repellent effects and helps with urinary tract infections.
Usage
Apply a few drops to aroma lamps, directly to the bath or to the massage emulsion.
