Description
Juniper oil is recommended for muscle and rheumatic pains. The essential oil also has a refreshing effect and is inhaled for coughs and colds. Overall, it harmonises and stimulates the body. In the bath it promotes sweating, purifies the blood.
It is stated in the literature that the scent triggers a range of emotional reactions in us. The imprint of scents is stored in the memory more firmly than the shape or name of a plant. The use of essential oils in aromatherapy serves to alleviate ailments, but not to treat serious diseases. The oil can be used in the bath, as part of a massage blend and in an aromatherapy blend.
Usage
Use at a dilution of 1:100 (equivalent to 24 drops per 100 ml of oil) to massage onto the skin. To refresh the skin, add 10-15 drops to the bath. Never apply the oil in undiluted form directly to the skin. Do not apply before sunbathing.
