Removes even the most stubborn warts. If you suffer from stubborn common or plantar warts (on your hands or feet) for which freezing treatment (URGO Warts Cryotherapy*) is short, reach for the stronger version of the URGO Pen for stubborn warts. This method is based on a very strong acid that can handle even the most stubborn warts. This acid exfoliates the affected skin, thus removing the virus. A new, healthy layer of skin begins to form underneath it. Visible results can be seen from the first week of use. The gel inside the pen is colored with methylene blue, which helps with precise application to the wart and reduces the risk of contact with healthy skin.

Instructions for use:

Open the pen by turning the cap so that both red arrows are in line.

Before first use, it may take up to 65 presses before the first drop comes out (to create enough pressure to break the airtight seal and release the gel into the tip). For each subsequent use, press the pen with a 5-second interval between presses. One drop of gel (1 press) is enough for one application. If one drop does not completely cover the wart, apply another.

Hold the pen vertically with the applicator down at all times so that the gel can flow into the applicator tip. Carefully apply a drop of gel to the wart - the bluish color of the gel makes it easy to determine exactly where to apply the gel.

If the gel comes into contact with healthy skin, rinse it with plenty of clean soapy water to prevent irritation or burns. To help protect healthy skin from accidental application, we recommend applying a thin layer of Vaseline around the wart. However, you should never apply it directly to the wart, as this would minimize the effect of the treatment. Ask for help if you have trouble applying the gel to the wart yourself.

Let the gel dry for 10 to 15 minutes after application before getting dressed or putting on shoes.

Apply twice a day for four days. For children with smaller warts, apply once a day for 4 days.

After use, wipe the applicator thoroughly with a clean tissue to remove any remaining gel. Close the pen with the cap so that the red arrows are not together.

The wart will darken during treatment and a crust will form on the skin. Depending on the size of the wart, it should disappear within 1 to 2 weeks after treatment ends. It then gives way to smoother and slightly reddened skin, which will regain its natural color in the following weeks.

If the warts do not disappear completely, the treatment can be repeated after a four-day break. The treatment can be repeated a maximum of four times. If the warts do not disappear after the fourth treatment cycle, consult a doctor.

Note: For plantar warts covered with hardened skin, it is recommended to soak the foot in warm water before starting treatment and carefully remove the hardened skin, for example using a file.
