Apple cider vinegar is the product of fermentation of crushed apples, during which sugars are broken down. In the first stage they are converted into alcohol, the final product is vinegar. The main component of apple cider vinegar and any vinegar is acetic acid. However, vinegars also contain other acids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
