VitaHarmony's watercress is a dietary supplement containing a 10:1 extract of greater watercress and horsetail extract, standardized to a content of 7% silicon. This ensures that the same content of biologically active substances and the same quality of the final capsules are always ensured. Watercress from VitaHarmony is one of the strongest preparations in this category on the Czech market.

Greater watercress, in Latin Tropaeolum majus, is a medicinal herb that has been used in the past for its antibacterial and diuretic effects. Watercress was also nicknamed the "herbal antibiotic". The unique combination with horsetail supports the normal function of the urinary system and kidneys through a complex mechanism and stimulates the body's natural resistance. Horsetail contains a weak diuretic substance that supports urine production and urination. In addition, horsetail also has antioxidant effects.

To achieve maximum effect, it is advisable to follow these specific recommendations when using watercress: The recommended daily dose (2-3 capsules) is divided into multiple doses throughout the day. The onset of the effect of the biologically active substances of watercress begins about 2 hours after its consumption. The maximum effect is achieved about 4 to 8 hours after administration. After 8 hours after administration, the effect of the active substances decreases. Therefore, it is best to take smaller doses, ideally 3 times a day (preferably within 6-8 hours).

Watercress is a suitable supplement for antibiotic treatment. We recommend using watercress during acute problems with urinary tract (or respiratory) inflammation, and after the problems have subsided, continue using it for about 3 to 5 days. Watercress is not suitable for long-term use.
