Description
The innovative Ophtavit® Max preparation contains an increased amount of lutein and zeaxanthin, belonging to the group of carotenoids – pigments that are physiologically present in the human retina and cannot be produced by the body itself. The content of lutein and zeaxanthin in the macula naturally decreases with age, which is why their sufficient intake is important. The formula is also enriched with blueberry extract. The antioxidant complex of substances helps protect against free radicals that are created during the conduction of nerve impulses. UV radiation and ionizing radiation are also sources of free radicals that damage membranes and proteins in the lens of the eye.
