Description
Sublingual spray VITAMIN D3 AXONIA OROFAST 1000 IU is a food supplement with sweetener that contains a patented nanoemulsion with vitamin D3 microdroplets of approximately 100 - 200 nm in size, which allow rapid absorption of cholecalciferol into the bloodstream directly through the highly vascularized sublingual mucosa. This method achieves higher bioavailability of vitamin D3, as intestinal absorption is bypassed and the first-pass effect through the liver is reduced.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to maintaining the normal condition of bones and teeth, to normal muscle activity and to normal calcium levels in the blood. In children, vitamin D is also needed for normal growth and development of bones.
The package contains 30 ml.
Dosage
The usual daily dose for adults and children 12 years of age and older is one injection (1000 IU/25 mcg of cholecalciferol), or an equivalent dose given at longer intervals, such as weekly, every 14 days, or monthly.
For children over 3 years of age, the usual daily dose is 500 IU of cholecalciferol, which is achieved by administering 1 injection per day.
Shake the bottle before use. Apply pressure to the plunger and inject the emulsion into the mouth, preferably under the tongue (sublingually). Leave the emulsion in the mouth to allow it to be absorbed. Do not swallow. If multiple injections are required on the same day, it is recommended to allow sufficient time between injections for the emulsion from the previous injection to be absorbed. Swallowing the emulsion is not a disadvantage, however, the advantage of this application form is lost.
