Description
EvoTears® OMEGA is characterized by:
1. Omega-3
Omega-3 means omega-3 fatty acids, which are part of natural tears. Dry eyes are often associated with a lack of omega-3 fatty acids in the tear film. The greater the omega-3 deficiency, the more disrupted the tear film and the more serious the associated corneal damage2.
EvoTears® OMEGA contains omega-3 fatty acids from seaweed. That is why EvoTears® OMEGA is also suitable for vegans.
2. Perfluorohexyloctane
Thanks to the innovative substance perfluorohexyloctane, EvoTears® OMEGA is lipophilic, yet has the same refractive index as tears. This means that it does not impair vision.
Perfluorohexyloctane has other beneficial properties that are unprecedented in the treatment of dry eyes. EvoTears® OMEGA spreads very quickly and covers the tear film, preventing premature evaporation. In addition, one drop has an approximate volume of only 10 µl, so one 3 ml bottle of EvoTears® OMEGA contains up to 280 drops.
3. Anhydrous composition
EvoTears® OMEGA is the second anhydrous drop after EvoTears® designed to treat dry eyes.
EvoTears® OMEGA eye drops combine effective protection against evaporation (thanks to the content of an innovative substance) and an anhydrous composition containing omega-3 fatty acids from seaweed for relief from irritated eyes and eyelid margins.
Usage
Apply 1 drop to the eye under the lower eyelid up to 4 times daily. You can also use EvoTears Omega daily as needed.
Ingredients
Sterile eye drops without phosphates and antimicrobial preservatives containing EyeSol® (perfluorohexyloctane) with 0.2% omega-3 fatty acids.
