Eye irritation is manifested by itching, burning, tearing, a feeling of dry eyes or a foreign body in the eye. These symptoms often indicate that the surface of the eye is not sufficiently moisturized. HYLO DUAL INTENSE® contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid (0.2%) in combination with ectoine, which causes its high viscosity. Thanks to this, the eye is particularly intensively and long-term supplied with a stable moisturizing film. HYLO DUAL INTENSE® relieves permanent or severe discomfort and the eye is protected from irritation in the long term.

HYLO DUAL INTENSE® - ideal for chronically dry eyes
If the eyes itch or burn only occasionally, conventional moisturizing eye drops such as HYLO FRESH® are sufficient. However, if the symptoms occur regularly and the problems have a chronic course, it may be dry eye syndrome (sicca syndrome). HYLO DUAL INTENSE® is intended for intensive therapeutic moisturization of dry eyes and stabilization of the tear film, thereby relieving inflammatory symptoms such as itching and burning of the eyes. High-quality hyaluronic acid creates an even, stable and long-lasting moisturizing film on the surface of the eye that is resistant to washing away. Thanks to these bioadhesive properties, the cornea and conjunctiva are treated and, together with natural tears, ideally slippery for blinking. Permanent or severe discomfort is alleviated and the eye is protected from irritation.
HYLO DUAL INTENSE® eye drops relieve inflammation with intensive hydration
The special combination of highly concentrated hyaluronic acid and the natural substance ectoin protects the ocular surface from excessive drying and, by moisturizing the ocular surface, relieves symptoms of inflammation. Increased water binding also supports the eye's natural barrier against irritants from the external environment. Ectoin soothes stressed tissue and the typical symptoms of irritated eyes such as burning, itching or redness. It also reduces environmental irritation that leads to inflammatory symptoms.
Hyaluronic acid in a particularly high concentration
Hyaluronic acid is a natural part of the human body. It has a high water-binding capacity, adheres to the surface of tissues for a long time and supports healing. To achieve long-lasting and intensive moisturisation, we use high-quality hyaluronic acid in the HYLO EYE CARE® range. Thanks to its extreme viscosity, it moisturises the surface of the eye evenly, intensively and for a long time. HYLO DUAL INTENSE® contains a particularly high concentration of hyaluronic acid (0.2%) and provides the eye with intensive moisturisation. Due to the high viscosity of long-chain hyaluronic acid, the drops adhere to the surface of the eye for a long time, thus protecting it from irritation for a long time.
With the natural substance ectoin
Ectoin is a natural substance produced by microorganisms that live in extreme environments (e.g. in salt lakes). In order to protect themselves from the prevailing extreme environmental conditions, these microorganisms produce the natural substance ectoin, which is used for its special properties in HYLO DUAL INTENSE®. Ectoin increases the ability to bind water in the cells of the surface of the eye and thus creates a physiological barrier on the conjunctiva. At the same time, ectoin stabilizes the fat component of the tear film, which protects the eye from excessive evaporation of tear fluid.
Note for contact lens wearers: HYLO DUAL INTENSE® cannot be used with contact lenses due to its high viscosity.

Usage
Step 1. Remove the cap before each use. To open, hold the cap as close to the bottle as possible. With the other hand, pull the bottle away from the cap with a twisting motion. Before using HYLO DUAL INTENSE® for the first time, press the bottom of the vial several times until the dropper tip the first drops do not come out. This makes the vial ready for first use. Step 2. Hold the bottle with the dropper tip down, the thumb is placed next to the drip tip, place the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle. Step 3. Support the hand with the vial of HYLO DUAL INTENSE® with the other free hand. Step 4. Slightly tilt your head back, slightly pull the lower eyelid away from the eye with your free hand and press quickly and strongly on the center of the vial. This will activate the dispensing mechanism one drop. Special valve mechanism used in the system COMOD® guarantees the same droplet size and the same drip rate even with strong pressure on the bottom of the vial. Close the eye slowly so that the liquid can flow evenly spread over its surface. Step 5. After use, close the bottle carefully with the cap. Ensure to keep the tip of the dropper dry. When dripping into the eye avoid contact of the drip tip with the eye or skin face.
Dosage
Adults and children over 6 years of age apply HYLO DUAL INTENSE® 3 times a day 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye. If it necessary, HYLO DUAL INTENSE® can be used more often. If you want to use HYLO DUAL INTENSE® more frequently (e.g. more than 10 times a day), if you feel prolonged discomfort, you should consult an ophthalmologist. HYLO DUAL INTENSE® is suitable for long-term use.
Ingredients
1 ml of HYLO DUAL INTENSE® contains 2 mg of sodium hyaluronate, 20 mg ectoin, boric acid, sodium tetraborate decahydrate and water for injection.
