HYLO COMOD® moisturizing eye drops are particularly well suited for moderate to moderately severe symptoms of dry eyes. Thanks to hyaluronic acid, the drops ensure optimal moisturizing of the sensitive surface of the eye, so that typical symptoms such as redness, burning and the sensation of a foreign body in the eye quickly disappear.

If the eye lacks the tear fluid that spreads over the surface of the eye like a film, this can lead to a feeling of dryness, itching or burning, rapid signs of fatigue or the sensation of a scratchy foreign body in the eye. According to expert estimates, one in six people in Germany suffers from dry eye syndrome.
Along with many other factors, low air humidity, the use of certain medications and working at a computer can be the cause. This is because while your eyes are focused on the monitor, you blink significantly less and the eye is not sufficiently lubricated by tear fluid. HYLO COMOD® is very suitable for contact lens wearers. The eye drops support the damaged natural tear film by creating an even and stable film on the surface of the eye. In this way, the eye receives long-term protection against drying out, which is a common side effect of wearing contact lenses, and against other accompanying symptoms.
HYLO COMOD® is also suitable after eye surgery, because hyaluronic acid has excellent moisturizing properties and adheres to the ocular surface for a long time, so that physiological healing processes can proceed optimally.
HYLO COMOD®: preservative-free and phosphate-free
The effect of HYLO COMOD® drops is based on sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, which is very well tolerated. The clear liquid does not negatively affect vision.
HYLO COMOD® moisturizing eye drops are characterized by two special properties: they do not contain any preservatives or phosphate buffers, and are therefore safe and well tolerated. Preservatives can damage the tear film and even cause allergic reactions. In addition, by replacing the phosphate buffer with a citrate buffer, the risk of calcium phosphate deposition on the cornea and the associated significant deterioration of eye function has been eliminated.

Step 1. Remove the cap before each use. To open, hold the cap as close to the bottle as possible. With the other hand, pull the bottle away from the cap with a twisting motion. Before using HYLO COMOD® for the first time, press the bottom of the vial several times until the dropper tip the first drops do not come out. This makes the vial ready for first use. Step 2. Hold the bottle with the dropper tip down, the thumb is placed next to the drip tip, place the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle. Step 3. Support the hand with the vial of HYLO COMOD® with the other free hand. Step 4. Slightly tilt your head back, slightly pull the lower eyelid away from the eye with your free hand and press quickly and strongly on the center of the vial. This will activate the dispensing mechanism one drop. Special valve mechanism used in the system COMOD® guarantees the same droplet size and the same drip rate even with strong pressure on the bottom of the vial. Close the eye slowly so that the liquid can flow evenly spread over its surface. Step 5. After use, close the bottle carefully with the cap. Ensure to keep the tip of the dropper dry. When dripping into the eye avoid contact of the drip tip with the eye or skin face.
Dosage
Apply HYLO COMOD® 3 times a day 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye. If it necessary, HYLO COMOD® can be used more often. If you want to use HYLO COMOD® more frequently (e.g. more than 10 times a day), if you feel prolonged discomfort, you should consult an ophthalmologist. HYLO COMOD® is suitable for long-term use.
